Well if you are going to quote Shakespeare...

Two issues I want to raise:
#1 What is a definition of a Harami.
#2 Is Stockcharts properly showing (or not showing) those stocks that exhibit the "pattern" described.

(A) (#1) You have me at a disadvantage young Shrew. I do not have the book nor the definition in front of me. But based on that, it was definitely not saying "unusually long real body followed by a very small real body"

(B) (#2) Review the StockCharts Stock Scan - Hamari

You will see 8 stocks (based on July 20). You can see all for yourself - but there are one or two WITHOUT a body..

Here are two - with longer than your statement bodies... (that are confirming my points - ergo why I asked)

The first looks more to what I am talking about with CPST. If the "shadow" is a problem then the second is closer.

Anyways constructive none the less. I am by no means questioning you in a negative way (like I know what I am talking about). I am learning. Perhaps another book will give me different perspectives.

My original and more important question is how good is Stockcharts picking this stuff out. Secondary is the true definition - which may or may not be open for debate.

Thanks Cush

(If interested I can surely quote the book and the definitions later this evening).
