Struthers Inc. Performs First Non-Surgical Porcine Embryo Transfers in Italy


MILAN, Italy--(BW HealthWire)--Jan. 11, 2001--Struthers, Inc. (OTCBB: STRU), a world leader in animal reproductive biotechnology, announced today that Company staff has performed non-surgical porcine embryo transfers in Italy.

This event represents the first application of the Struthers Non-Surgical Porcine Embryo Transfer System utilizing the Gourley Scope(TM)in the international market. Dr. Dennis Gourley, of Struthers, Inc.'s subsidiary Elite Visions, Inc. and creator of the Gourley Scope(TM), along with Dr. Douglas Beatty, president and CEO of Struthers, Inc. performed the surgery to remove the embryos, washing them virtually free of disease, and then placed them into host pigs non-surgically. The procedure was performed on a 1000 sow unit located near Milan, Italy.
