I got the impression that they DON't have a way to hide the key in hardware and the whole article fudges around that point hiding it encrypted in software in a really secure place.....

In any case, it is all now a matter of execution and building market share. Phoenix has brand recognition, but ultimately as SKS has said it's about ease of use and which package delivers the best security (is not hacked and hacked and hacked).

As one of my professors pointed out to me some forty years ago, comments are easy, but

"The only thing that really matters is DELIVERY OF THE GOODS!"
i expect that the next 120 days are going to give us a MUCH clearer picture of THE GOODS.
