Compare the Cusips. I think it is the same company with a "new" canadian domicile.

Genesis WWII is a subsidiary of a private company.

Both are spinoffs of the original Monarch Machine Tool, which was a global metalworking company.

The confusion results from their canadian filings, which are on SEDAR, not EDGAR. They also had a secondary offering, and didn't register the offerring with the SEC, choosing to register in Canada intead. The GWI.TO shares are not saleable in the US.
