The majority of the news today is rehashed, regurgitated, or outright re-reported from the original source. I can't tell if reporters in incapable of actually digging in and breaking a story, or if they're no longer allowed to.

But the investigative reporter appears to be a thing of the past... or someone would have torn this wide open by now.
