I've been saying this for years... As a whole socialism stinks. It's not a road we want to go down. But at the same time, before a president gives 50 billion US Taxpayer Dollars to Africa or any other place, it should be given back the American people, either to those who paid in or to those living on the streets and slums.

I don't like the idea of it at all, but before we give it to another country, we should take care of our own.

Now we watch this video kicking around with these traders and such screaming about not wanting to bailout people with bad mortgages. Did they scream like that and call for a Tea Party over handing over billions in TARP money to the banks?

Before America bails out anyone with tax payer money, the tax payers should be bailed out. It's simple logic. If all of this stems from bad mortgages, just pay them off instead of giving the banks billions and leaving the people on the hook for the loans.

But alas... I don't like socialism. I just don't like it. I don't trust it. We can see from history where it leads.

But if we're going to take care of anyone, it should be the American taxpayers... not banks, not Africa, not Palestine, not Israel, as in no one that doesn't live in this country.

If we're going to put America in debt for generations, we might as well move to get mortgages taken care of so that the current and future generations might have family hand me down houses that are owned by the people and not by the banks.

It's a damn shame what they've done to this county.

"I'm sorry - I have to say this somewhere aloud! Why is it such an outrage that homeowners (not me - I'm not in that boat) are getting some help. I don't want to pay to bail anyone out - but we have no problem bailing out the banks (AGAIN!!)"
