m3s, I said TC was way ahead of the pack and I meant that regarding coverage. As I said in my post we need additional coverage by new firms which will bring in new investors.

CNBC constantly has guests on that keep saying buy stocks that have cash and no debt and IDCC fits those shoes and yet we can't attract new coverage.

Carpenter was in before Nokia, LG , Samsung etc so if that isn't being ahead of the pack what is?

All he gets in return from the investors he shares his work with is accusations such as you made that he set up this down tick with options.

Do you realize he went neutral over 2 weeks ago and the stock held its own until yesterday?

IMO what ever effect his rating would have had would have happened in the first few days of the change just like the hits we took when Piper Jaffey downgraded and the BS report out of India by Reuters.

What your missing about TC is he has been more right than wrong with his numbers.
