tax evasion is incredibly illegal. yet the us watches all year round as corperations create shell entitys outside of the us for tax shelter purposes. corperate tax rev is down a whole heck of alot because that is just one of the few ways around the law these companies have found..
equally powerful companies (most of whome practice tax evasion) could easily find any posible exploits to the laws reguarding short selling.
