By the admission of Laidlaw’s own attorney who specializes in the SEC process, Berlin must play a significant role in the approval/denial process. He said the first hearing will be held in Berlin. Which explains why Laidlaw is suddenly trying to make nice with Berlin. If they didn’t need Berlin they would be submitting the application without trying to reach out to them. Mr. Bartoszek admitted they still need to do a wood study. They have no time line for submitting the application with the SEC. And only have what amounts to a verbal agreement with PSNH.
