Good post...I am in AYSI also, found out about it from DaveinHackensack a while ago. I like it because it is a simple, easy to understand business. I'm waiting to add until it becomes clear to me that they can make it ok through 09. Raw is definately a tool for his behavior on the AYSI boards but some of the concern is legit.

I don't want to invest in companies where I'd have to get a PhD to really understand their product. I understand the fast food business (BOBS). I understand the utility of Arcoplate, AYSI. But when you start getting into obscure niche medical devices, gambling technology, etc...I feel that my grasp of those businesses are not as strong. Plus there's that whole "flavor of the month" thing as you put it, that seems to get a lot of people burned. I'd rather be ahead of the curve, rather than behind it.

What do you think of UVE? I've been considering that one on a pullback.
