A predictable response. Only one point I will even comment on...
The fact that you "support" an ignore feature is a mighty fine reason not to have one.
The feature I supported was a new kind of ignore. One that did not prevent messages from being viewed, but one that prevented either of the parties involved from posting directly to the other. This was discussed in detail in March and never responded to at all...until now. I thought this would help stop some of the unwanted goings on here at IH without creating an RB or SI type atmosphere. There would be no need to brag that so and so was on ignore. You would still get to see what was being posted. More importantly it would make it real obvious in whom the real problem lay if one or both parties continued to make third party references to thier opponent, then MAtt would have cause to take action.
But since "I" support such that's reason enough to dismiss it altogether. It's always nice to know that an upstanding, contributing member of the community, with support from many others can be dismissed on a whim.
