It could be a negotiated settlement. That is what GOOD lawyers do best. Why pay court costs if you can pull off a win-win negotiation? If a Lawyer can't settle out of court, he is getting paid too much for doing squat.

Would you put a decision in the hands of a Jury or a Judge with an average IQ of 110 if you have an IQ of 130 or better?
