I made my position clear - I have no problem with opposing viewpoints but I do agree with their efforts to restrict the name calling and personal attacks that prevail on RB. If any poster from either side has to attack or denegrate another poster that would indicate that their argument or opinion is weak. I realize that at this point much of the name calling is just in response to previous attacks by others but the board monitors have to take the position that it needs to stop somewhere no matter who started it. The crap on RB speaks for itself. If someone really likes that sort of thing, RB is there.

I will vociferiously defend everone's right to post any point of view as long as there is some basis for it, slim as it may be. I have had a few posts removed for the same reasons as others have and am obliged to live with the rules like everyone else. When I disagree with the board monitor's decisions I PM them and state my case. (They might consider those PMs whining and screaming but I prefer to call them well-reasoned arguments)
