Let's face it - the only strategy that is going to bring all this QR code stuff to the main market is the company that can bring all the facets of the ecosystem together, to launch a huge uptake of this technolgy. The company has to have the main IP in its pocket, has to have been building a huge platform that bring Brands, Carriers, and phone makers together, and be ready to launch commerce with secure payor systems to buy on sight.

Only strategy that will work is a huge secret conglomeration put together in secret, launched suddenly into the public domain. I hope this is the NeoMedia plan, and it launches this Spring. Late is definitely still better than never, to make this trip worth the price of admission.
