al44 I read articles about the possibility of the total demise of fiat currency, not only the dollar but most of them going worthless and have to wonder if that is anything more than an interesting fiction story/theory, kind of like the guy with the sign "The World is Coming to an End!". I say the chance of printed money going to $0 is 1/1000 in my lifetime. What odds do you give that catastrophe? I like PM simply as part of a diversified investment strategy and collectable coins as a hobby/investment.... I do think we will have ugly inflation in 2011 - (?) but still use FRN....tia, fwiw, hge
