I don't know. Are you sure you have the right company? The banking industry has some pretty rigorous standards for CUSIP numbers, and Thomson Financial is a pretty reputable firm for reporting.

I figure the only one way to fix the problem: INVADE CANADA!

How about we just have a bidding war?

You are certainly correct about nobody wanting to give up their shares.
