Good post Mike. Although I cannot agree with you on the part of Linda's reaction.

When you are the head honcho of something there are going to be people in this world who are going to want to piss all over you. As you know I wasnt in on the call so I cant make a judgement call on how exactly the question was asked or whether or not there was maybe too much attitude in the tone. Fact o' the matter is though that Linda is the boss/spokesperson for RTGV shareholders and people are going to ask tough questions and are sometimes going to be rude in doing so. Someone in Linda's position is supposed to have the training and character to be able to handle that sort of stuff because quite frankly it goes with the territory. In addition, calling anyone a name, regardless of vulgarity, is also inexcusable for someone of her standing.

If Linda wants to remain and be successful in powerful positions throughout her career then she'd better find a better way of dealing with it. At the very least she should ignore any animosity and simply stick to stating the facts, its that easy. 'Take the high road', 'Never stoop to their level'; whatever you want to call it. If she has her ducks in a row then no one can touch her.
