"most companies are private companies". Well FYI ALL companies are private companies! LOL!! That's why it's called the PRIVATE SECTOR as opposed to the GOVERNMENT SECTOR or the NON-PROFIT SECTOR. Now as to whether or not their STOCK is made public or kept private is another matter.
