GOLD vs. SILVER question.......

.....assuming the US$ stays in a downward trend over next few years and GOLD in an upward trend.....would GOLD and SILVER move in tandem or based on historical ratio's and other intangibles....would GOLD or SILVER move higher in the same period percentage wise?
