Well here is a link to TWACS/DCSI. This is the company that i was talking about. The difference though.. is that this technology is only used for metering power and reporting the location of power outages.
I guess of ambient is using it for full blown data transfer it would be different intelectual property... but I am slightly concerned that the methods in which both companies do their thing would be very similar.. possibly causing patent infringements. But maby not, and I will hope for that one for a number of reasons. :)
