What is your opinion of the slim chip and other solutions that IDCC offers, should IDCC sell that part or what? It appears this should be pretty profitable for IDCC to keep?

I sure don't understand that part of the business at all. It seems like the ASIC and other products they talk about are doing pretty good.

OK - so my opinion....get out of the hardware business, but keep R&D in conjunction with relationships with a couple of key chip suppliers to do the realization. Be a resource for those companies (and maybe UMPC or smartphone parter) to keep driving innovation - I would like to see them announce plans for LTE realization on their own and then deliver IP/blocks through a partner(s). Keep getting ongoing per unit from the chip sales of others.

MIH - Pretty sure the client sw has been through interoperability testing in Korea and in a European operator lab (testing with other company's Server platforms). I would like to see a demo at 3GSM in February in conjunction with a partner. The development still has a way to go, but the company should be able to productize it within this year....adding more features and interoperability as they go. I see this as part of the overall revenue per device chart (presentation)that seems to set some people off here. That chart is revenue from licensing AND product combined. If the licensing rate for MIH product is anything close to what Kineto gets, we will stay near the top end of the chart.

Will that work for now?
