Ok. we're making progress. Your test score is up by 10% to 1087. Your CPU load is down from 100% to 43%. You should barely see some improvement in your performance.

Pal Talk and Open Site (Spy and a Trojan) were zapped by Adaware and Spybot and they are gone for good.

Now to the slightly more complicated. Up till now the programs you disabled are still on your computer. They just don't run from startup anymore. You can still access them at any time.

Do you have an Apple IPod networked to your computer to play music with? Do you run any music files in Apple format? Do you have anything that you connect to your computer to download music into that runs in Apple format?

If not, open Task Manager (Control Alt Delete) and open the Processes tab. One at a time, hilite anything that says QuickTime or Quick Task or Music Match or MMtask.exe and click end process for each one and exit the task manager.

Then go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall anything with QuickTime or Music Match in it. If you are using any of them let me know and we will do something else.

Reboot and retest.
