Good deal Zav....tyvm....never heard of these cfd instruments b4. So is it kinda like they're giving you their own quote for a indece & not actually pooling those funds w/in the actual indece pool in question....thus they're in essence creating their own mrkt pools & providing their own quote for which is close or w/in a certain range so ta speak.

If so, indeed, sounds like a fairly risky way ta go....after all....they could in essence create whatever mrkt/range they want (w/in reason of course) & thus the opp presents itself to where they can fairly easily suit their best interests by running a quote a few pts away from where the indece is actualy trading...this way it is easier for'em to take out positions. Similiar to when a brokerage quotes a currency a few pips away from where it's actually trading so they can run stops.

Of course the most important thing to keep in mind here....the cfd money held is not being placed in the same pool for that of the actual instrument itself.

Last night right b4 I was gettin ready to power down I did somethin to the ODL platform....changed the view w/out realizing what I was actually doing & so I couldn't figure out how to get those configs back....even tried going back to the default parameters....no luck...spent approx 20 mins tryin to get it back to the original format/view to no avail....shouldn't be that difficult to figure out. That's 1 thing about Oanda....after all this time w/it, I've never messed thnigs up so bad to where I couldn't figure out how to get it back to where/what I wanted.
