fwiw - I agree with the basic sentiment bbotcs has put forth.

I think this should be a STOCK-PICKING contest. In many ways an EFT is more like a sector-focused mutual fund than an individual stock.

While I like to see EFTs proposed as a way to make money, and discussed on the boards, I think a stock-picking contest should require a contestant, to, um, pick individual stocks. I personally favor disallowing EFTs entirely in future PSL contests.

As for Penny's suggestion, I would not endorse allowing shorts in the contest. That would in effect be a naked short, as no borrowing is required, and I am against naked shorting. It is also riskless, as the contest short really can not bankrupt you if squeezed.
