ABSOLUTELY 100% Totally Correct, except in a case where they got an offer that was backed by enough clout that a sign-on to short term debt would make a HUGE difference with mininal to no extended risk.

I like slow and steady. But it cant be too slow, or sometimes you miss the wind at the back.

These guys were supposed to be at this point a year ago, but they held back to do it with less risk of getting caught in a credit squeeze. If anyone has been paying attention to the news the last several months, they can put 2 & 2 together to see that their diligence to do it the way they did, may have very well saved this start-up and all the work they did to get it to where it is. It is so sad when a good idea and good product gets squashed by to quick a move to pounce on credit. The 'why use your own money when you can use the other guys' mantra has a lot of negative sides to it that are usually ignored by the company's that have failed.
