On commons vs. preferreds.....keep in mind that preferreds will get paid before commons but only IF there is a total liquidation of the remaining assets of the company. That may not happen. Considering the FACT that WAMU is paying big money towards hiring RESTRUCTURING specialists there is every indication it won't. We may see all WAMU stock return to much higher trading levels after we have more information on confirmed assets. I plan on buying some preferred (WAMPQ and WAMKQ) but I also plan to continue buying common shares in WAMUQ as I still feel it has the potential for the biggest gains from these levels.
