It didn't.

AS I recall, PCBM became CMKX. I was trading it in and out from .0001 to .0002 until the name change. Once the name changed it traded at .0002 to .0003. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Though at one point rather long ago there were rumors that the two companies would merge, and in fact Mr Lobster served for awhile as a "consultant" to CMKI (as it was then).

More links: On the strength of the rumored merger, a great many PCBMers bought into CMKI. They still litter the RB CMKX boards. Their erstwhile leader--the person who started the merger rumor--is posting here these days, as jawz.
