Answer was posted today, my fear here is I don't think banks are going to be able to use these funds to buy other banks as easily as they thought. So, it may be more difficult for JPM/etc to raise the money for a buyout for fear of scrutiny from Washington. If you will read the bailout dollar was to unclog the system and to be loaned to the consumer. However, after was passed, "THEY" came up with the great idea to use it to buyout "smaller" banks, now Washington is screaming, ironically.IMO
