Yes, common shareholders are creditors and are also LAST in line after everyone else has been paid. So once in a blue moon...they actually get something. I look at it like this...if there were any perceived or calculated potential value, the big fish would already have it all figured out and would have bought the stock and run it up some...
Remember when DALRQ was trading in the .30's...then the rumors of it being bought out before exiting bk surfaced? It ran well over $2......they bought it up "just in case"...then sold it back down when it didn't happen. The same would happen here...
All JMO from my past experience...money can be made trading these bk stocks...but don't hold them expecting a payout when it's all over.
