I don't think this is in favor of IDCC because an arbitration panel has no juristiction over validity and infringement.

IMO not so. Now that the Judge has ruled these documents are available upon her approval we might see requests filed. Not sure these requests are public but I think sjraty said they will be public

Still, I am very disappointed in and surprised by the Court's ruling. I expect an appeal by IDCC and Ericy for the same reasons that they requestted the vacatur in the first place.

Why appeal? That could take another few years? IDCC has enough to go to arbitration.
