I am mystified. Someone help me. IDCC has valid patents with claims relating to a single base station in question. However, there are other claims and other patents on 2G which are not in dispute. There is a signed agreement with Nokia from 1999. What does the ruling about vacature have to do about their obligation to pay? What is the downside? Is it 10%, 20%, 30% reduction in money owed? Wall Street has probably figured it to be 50% anyway based on arbitration. What is all the fuss about?
