Could not agree with you more. As a newbie to this site, it brings into sharp focus the manic/depressive state that investors can whip themselves into.

I'm not saying that the stock can't evaporate in value - but I'm prepared for it. You/we/they know we're all taking a chance, so just calm down, and stick with it until the news hits.

BTW, if there were big run-ups in the price of the stock BEFORE the big news, I would actually more suspicious.
