FOR VISITORS & NEW PEOPLE: REPOST DD

Says a lot re where SI is going in this focus and revenue stream - as always IMO:

IMO - Cloning is very far off and there is a lot of issues with disease transfer to humans ...
I think the way SI is strategizing re this focus is the correct one for SI and us:

" Dear Patrick,
You have my permission to share this correspondence with your teammates,
however I already believe that it has been shared.
I have already sent the telephone number you mentioned in your e-mail to
Mark , and when we have a response I will share the information with you.
You may also wish to look up on porknet.com and read the article with
respect to Dolly the sheep and how the researchers in Scotland had ceased
operations as far as cloning hogs due to the fact that disease may be
transmitted to humans from pig organs. The article goes on to explain that
cloning of human embryo cells for medical research could be used to grow new
tissue and even replacement organs for people who need transplants or are
suffering from degenerative diseases.

Rhett and I have always maintained the idea that cloned pig organs would run
into difficulty and for that reason Struthers never entered into that field
other than to offer the technology for embryo transfers to companies that
were in that field. However, Struthers will still play a major role in
supplying minimal disease-free hogs to the research area and our
accompanying technology as our animals are excellent models for vaccine and
antibiotic research. After speaking with researchers I am delighted that the
focus will turn to that of using our hogs to the above purpose and I'm very
pleased that we have the cleanest hogs in North America. Having the focus
shift from the cloning of organs at the research level to the use of hogs in
biomedical research, this opens up a whole new avenue for the use of our
animals as educational institutions will have to divert their funds from
cloning to the formation of new vaccines and antibiotics, not to mention the
use of our hogs in the development of new surgical techniques. Its
interesting to note that typically low disease hogs are sold for
approximately $3000 per animal. This is a great revenue source for
Struthers and once our research facilities complete the work on the Gourley
Scope we will focus on the delivery of low incidence of disease embryos and
swine to the appropriate research companies. You will notice as the pieces
of the puzzles come together that not only will Struthers have a major
impact in the raising of natural swine and other animals for the retail
chains we'll be focusing on more high ticket items such as filling of
requests for low disease animals for research and the training of
veterinarians to use our Gourley Scope. You may also be interested to know
that one time Dr. Ian Wilmut had visited Struthers to discuss the use of our
technology in their research and that now I feel it is a great time to give
Dr. Wilmut a call to discuss his future focus and offer our nonsurgical
embryo transfer techniques and embryo washing procedures.

As always I'll keep you abreast of developing situations and keep you
informed of our progress. It is also interesting to note that institutions
here in the U.S. have contacted us recently about our technology and are
shifting their focus away from cloning to the more lucrative area of vaccine
and antibiotic resistance research. My intuition leads me to believe that
these institutions stateside knew what was coming down the tubes long before
this article was reported in the UK. I believe that we've made the right
decision of not to genetically alter our animals, but to make them healthier
using embryo transfer and selective breeding practices to attract the retail
sector, feed efficient to attract the farmers, and low disease incidence to
attract the bio- technology sector.

Much thought has gone into the development of a solid foundation and
alliance structure, now it's time to rock!
Thank you for your note, as always when news is available it will be
released to all shareholders and the public at large.
Have a great day,
Douglas

Cheers
