Cadillac To Offer XM Satellite Radio on All 2003 Models

DETROIT -(Dow Jones)- General Motors Corp.'s (GM) Cadillac will offer XM Satellite Radio Holding Inc.'s (XMSR) XM satellite radio on all of its models within the next few years.

In a press release Wednesday, GM said Cadillac will offer XM on the 2003 DeVille, Seville , CTS and Escalade vehicles and on the 2004 XLR luxury roadster and Cadillac SRX.

GM will offer XM on 25 of its model year 2003 cars and trucks across all its divisions including the entire Cadillac line of Buick, Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Pontiac and GMC models.

The service price for all 100 channels of XM Radio is $9.99 a month.

New York Stock Exchange-listed shares of GM closed Wednesday at $62.48, up $ 2.03, or 3.4%, on composite volume of 4.6 million shares. Average daily volume is 4.4 million shares.

Shares of XM Satellite closed Wednesday at $12.30, down 3 cents, or 0.2%, on Nasdaq volume of 2.6 million shares. Average daily volume is 2 million shares.
