Believer - You're correct, that was not us little guys. Could be heavily financed speculators who know the stock is undervalued... could be JPM in anticipation of a buyout (there are only so many shares of WAMUQ out there, company can't create more shares under BK so if they want to buy out shareholders, they're better off owning as much as they can themselves - fewer folks to pay off)... could be Warren Buffett himself... who knows!!

Point is - this isn't your average BK pink sheet stock. There's a very good chance they'll withdraw from BK, come out of BK debt free and go back to business, or close their doors with enough equity to pay both preferred and common stockholders at least a buck or two a share. After buying for pennys... I'll take $2 a share!
