They may be crooks but they are fighting to hold onto it because they can't cover the withdrawal, thus the 48 hours notice of intent to withdraw. They will be scramblinbg to come up with the cash.

After reading about this for the first time, this is what I immediately thought as well. JPM lawyers are working 24/7 to find a loophole to keep the money for themselves. With our crooked legal systems, they'll probably find one and we'll get screwed.
