vaughn, Maybe the NASD is doing a short audit. This was done on one of my friends holdings and MM were forced to cover (the stock exploded). If the MM has sold more shares then are avaiable the NASD Short Audit Commitee can force them to cover in a three day time frame. These audits are normally requested by the compnay.
