September 23, 2008

VIA FACSIMILE AND OVERNIGHT MAIL

Facsimile No.: (202) 228-2862

Re: Sustainable Power Corp.
Reducing Dependence on Foreign Oil

Dear Senator McCain:

I am the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Power Corp., a company located in Baytown, Texas, intricately involved in the manufacture and sale of biofuel products meeting or exceeding petroleum standards, as well as electricity.

As a company, we support your stated platform goal of substantial reduction of American dependence on foreign oil and energy, as well as increased production from United States resources. I firmly believe we have the solution to these issues within the United States.

Would bringing $2.00-a-gallon fuel to your constituents be a positive step? Would reducing dependence on foreign oil to a trickle bring overall increased national productivity and improved GNP? How about producing clean-burning, environmentally friendly fuels which reduce emissions, improve so-called global warming and are 100% "green"? What if these also reduced municipal waste in the process?

Biofuels are a tremendous alternative to fossil fuels. The well-known problem historically has been that biofuels, in particular ethanol, have been too expensive to efficiently produce (estimated as much as $2.10 per gallon), and in many cases have negatively impacted the food supply because of the use of food products diverted to production of fuel. This has been stated to drive up food costs by as much as 75% in some instances.

The focus of Sustainable Power Corp. during its research and development phase was the production of biofuel which is (i) cost efficient beyond anything previously achieved with ethanol or other biofuels and (ii) not reliant on food crops or other viable bio materials for fuel. I am pleased to report that Sustainable Power Corp. has achieved these objectives and much more.

Vertroleum(TM) is Sustainable Power's biofuel product, which is created by chemical hydrolysis with a modified pyrolysis and the use of nanobacteria. Vertroleum(TM) contains the same hydrocarbons as petroleum crude oil. When used in the same distillation process used by petroleum companies, Vertroleum(TM) can be further refined to produce biogasoline (BG-100), a substitute for gasoline E85 in flexible fuel vehicles, biokerosene (jet fuel), a diesel blend stock, naptha (an octane enhancer), heating oil, refined diesel, tars and plastics. The Company's biocrude oil can be refined into 69 other renewable fuels or chemical materials as well.

What do we use for feedstock? I am pleased to report that in recent testing the Company has been able to use Municipal Standard Solid Waste efficiently to produce biocrude which has characteristics which exceed petroleum crude oil. This quite literally becomes the holy grail of energy production. Utilizing just 25 pounds of municipal waste, we produced as much as 19.2 pounds of biocrude oils and with an approximate BTU value of 18,000 BTU. We have historically also utilized otherwise useless biological materials such as soybean waste (not a food stock), and other green waste products such as palm and jatropha. Our process results in the production of approximately 200 gallons of fuel oil from 1 ton of crop waste, whereas typical biofuel production has resulted in closer to 70 to 80 gallons of fuel oil from feedstocks.

We are currently building out our first factory which should soon be fully operational. We are already producing Vertroleum(TM). When completed, this facility would initially be capable of producing 24,000 gallons of fuel oil a day (based on just four "reactors" in the facility). When this factory (or others) reaches full capacity (400 reactors), it will be able to produce 3 million gallons per day of fuel oil. What's our cost? While I have to advise it is proprietary, I can assure you that we could easily see less than $2.00 per US Gallon pricing for gasoline and probably more like $1.00.

Obviously this production ability will be increased, and frankly based on profitability from our operations will be self-funding. We are already in a joint venture for completion of an additional full factory serving the Oregon, Idaho and Washington state areas. We also have several joint ventures in place with funding for production of fuels in several other countries. We anticipate subsequent to these joint ventures that all future facilities would be Company owned and operated, as we simply would not have any need for partners.

I believe that obviously this is technology which can change our country. I personally joined Sustainable Power from a very successful corporate law practice because I believe this technology can provide energy and increased productivity for our children and grandchildren. The founder of the Company has similar beliefs, and is devoted to changing our world.

We would love to share this opportunity with you and your platform. I invite you and/or your staff to visit our facility in Baytown to view a demonstration of this capability. Together let's make America energy independent, productive, and green, as well as stop the approximately $257 billion per month outflow of cash from the US economy.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (706) 737-6600.

Sincerely,
SUSTAINABLE POWER CORP.
/s/ M. Richard Cutler
