But the fed already took control and made their deal to take ownership with warrants.

The debt of FRE FNM has been taken by the fed already for control of both companies.

Am I missing something here?

No doubt this stock will jump on this 700 billion bailout move, but since the gov't has warrants in FRE and FNM, the dilutive measures are still there.
