KOP:"This makes no sense at all. You are saying that this repair company is booked solid for the next 2 years and Quest got them to perform their much needed repairs the last two weeks at the drop of a dime?"
What I said was that the manufacturer/rebuilder was booked solid for 2 years, so they would have to look to some other way of getting the repairs accomplished quicker, like doing it themselves. I did not say "Quest got them to perform their much needed repairs the last two weeks at the drop of a dime".
Could also be that they found they needed additional parts once they started repairs; parts that have a longer lead time for delivery, like weeks instead of days. Not an uncommon occurance.
Plus the biggie: if the parts suppliers and other vendors know the mine is working under BK, they're probably selling parts to them COD. They'll only deliver to the mine if they know there's a check waiting there for them. No check, no parts. No check, no welding rods. No check, no roof bolts. No check, no toilet. No mining supplies, no coal production.
Make sense now?
