Assuming this is a legitimate ad actually placed by Wave, the "just partnered with HP" line was probably intended to attract engineers who are familiar with HP and have previously done work with them.

And if there's work to be done by Wave on behalf of HP then it's more than likely related to the upcoming launch of Intel's Anti-Theft Technology with Vpro.
