I've been thinking about the severity of the reverse split, and I can't think of any other reason for it other than to sell the company. From a trading standpoint, the reorganized share structure doesn't make much sense. However, the reduced share count would seem to make it easier for a larger company to buy us. Remember, also, that it was mentioned in a previous PR that an offer for the company had been made, but Gene didn't accept because the outcome wouldn't have been favorable to the investors. Perhaps they were offered something that *was* favorable.
I'm thinking acquisition, and subsequent spin-off of Trimark.
I'm just thinking out loud, but does anyone else see this as a viable scenario?
