Hi Scrooge, first get the instruction manual of your CD-stereo player and/or a DVD player. You need to find out what formats they can play. Your new cd recorder and/or DVD recorder has to be able to record in their formats. You may find that you have to replace all three of them in order to do what you want to do. You may have to get new sound and graphic cards also.
