Awk

We talk often enough that you know that I, who have been talking about remote authentication as Wave's most important contribution understand the role of ERAS and TDM in erasing the drive.

The paragraph quoted, however, does not speak of encrypted drives...so having become suspicious of anything that isn't PERFECTLY clear I was wondering if this paragraph:

Intel also plans to update the remote kill switch, which lets an administrator disable or wipe a laptop that's lost or stolen. But that requires the thief or person who found the lost laptop to turn it on and connect it to the Internet. The new vPro will allow an administrator to toast a laptop's contents even if they don't turn it on. Just walk into range of a wireless Internet network and your laptop will get the signal to self-destruct. [\b]

suggests that this is 1. a significant app that will sell machines with Wave inside, or 2. since it says drives and not encrypted drives -- it is something else from Intel altogether.

Frankly, it's driving me nuts that SKS keeps on talking about educating them, when he should make this so very clear to us and the rest of the world. Einstein said, "Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler!" Wave's explaination to Enterprise and us are nowhere close.... and that's the point of my post. How about Wave's ERAS enables business users to fry their lost computers using selected or all (Seagate, Hitachi, Intel vPro) hard drives!!! No need to ask questions of gurus then!!!

My point was also about Intel PLANS....... Is that this year or 36 months from now. Steven wants shareholder support and shareholders want clear understandings of products and relationships. I'm still dealing with we speak to IBM every day.
To the best of my knowledge, after 7 years that talk hasn't produced enough to buy many shares, if any shares. Maybe they couldn't talk about it before, but they can clarify and explain it now.... Half the time they talk about demoing, its geek talk and geeks to sign the checks. English sells! English can raise the share price! If the product has beef, show us and the world the beef!!!
