...in that it does not spell out "TPM"....

However, and that is the important point, 'ProtectTools' is the name that HP gave to their TPM and smart card related utilities.

What is interesting is that the PR implies Microsoft's support for the TCG related architecture. And this public 'support' is a first!

So, we'll see...
