No disrespect to Maheu, just wonderment and disgust at those who pay slavish tribute as though he were God himself. Maheu did nothing for Xers and had the good sense to get out when he could. If you'll remember, he left behind a significant amount of money that he had earned, preferring to get out at all costs and sever any connections. Pretty wise ol' boy, I'd say.
