Thanks for getting it. I had never heard of iHub until a flood of its members drove my traffic numbers to record new levels a few months ago, after I'd interviewed people at Wave Systems for my Trusted Computing World site.

The combination of all this attention, the difficulty people were having accessing MP4 files on my site, and the documented failure of Amazon Honor System to protect my work convinced me to switch encoding formats, move my site from my own server with minimal bandwidth to a shared server in Arizona with huge downstream capacity, and sign up for a CCBill and DRMNetworks package that allows me to encrypt, protect, license, and charge for my work.

I appreciate the interest iHub members have shown in listening to these interviews with top management. I appreciate the lesson gemmerling and others taught me about trying to run a business where the backdoor, the roof, and the side windows are all wide open. I especially appreciate your comments about the reasonableness of charging for one's own work and feeling entitled to be paid for it, especially when the amount charged is a relative "pittance" and the point of the web site is to help its members make more money.

Given a sufficiently vigorous response from iHub members to my low-cost interviews, I am not only glad to continue providing access to timely, thorough, and even, sometimes, interesting, interviews with the people running the companies they are most interested in, but to conduct additional interviews with those businesspeople they identify as subjects of group interest, and to organize and produce group discussions about companies or markets relevant to listener/investors.

This is a very powerful medium we're using, and if we can take advantage of even a small part of its ability to facilitate agile and useful communications among investors, everyone involved can benefit. Isn't that, after all, the whole point of iHub?
