Obviously you haven't been watching the news. GM, Ford and Chrysler are dramatically reducing production of trucks and suv's. I believe GM even stated that is was going to stop making trucks.

Fact of the matter is, there will be far less suv's and trucks on the road in the near future. With less consumer demand for gasoline, T Boone Pickens' new wind power plan and the increase in biofuel use and development, analysts are calling for $80 oil in a matter of weeks.
