If they do a thorough seismic survey,why is there a need to then undergo an "exploratory" well? With the seismic data in hand,why not make a determination of where best to drill,then go about setting up a drilling "production" well ? What additional information will be THAT different and beneficial,that is above and beyond what the seismic survey data provides ?
