They do this for the same reason people murder, rape, and cheat. It's a form of mental sickness. These people want the company to fail and if they can get enough people of panic and force the price of the stock to tumble for no good reason, then those that were the real cause of the panic gain a false sense of superiority.
So far, in less than one week, we have these people taking a great CC and turning it into the wrong message. Then, they take a LEGAL SEC document that only talks about future growth of the company and make it sound like it's some secret plan of attack and rob the shareholders.
What's next? Round 3... ding ding ding.... The witch hunt.
Repeat things so much that they even believe these fictious lies after a while. Watch out. There're ready to hang anyone and everyone that steps in their way.
So, what to do? Focus on the stock and the fundamentals. We bought in to the stock because of what the company is doing and what the future will bring. Forget the negative people. They have a totally different agenda in mind.
Don't let me convince you of what is right and what is wrong. You all know this. But, what I will say is, history has many stories we're all familiar with. Some that come to mind are: Chicken Little, Little Boy That Cried Wolf, and The Emporer's Clothes.
